| 内容記述 | 与謝野晶子の著作は、晶子が東京に上京するまで暮らした、晶子の故郷である大阪・堺の風土と深く関わっている。晶子の堺での風土的体験によって、晶子の近代的視座が形成されたこと。並びに、風土から享受した古典と晶子の関りについてを論じる。 晶子のグローバルで自由といった近代的志向は堺が世界と日本をつなぐ「門」であったこと。また、晶子の著作における日本のみならず、漢文を含めた古典との関りは、堺の風土と密接な関係があることを指摘する。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | Yosano Akiko's works are deeply connected to the environment of Sakai, Osaka—her hometown where she lived until moving to Tokyo. This essay discusses how Akiko's modern perspective was shaped by her environmental experiences in Sakai, and her relationship with classical literature, including Chinese texts, which she absorbed from that environment. It points out that Akiko's modern aspirations, characterized by globalism and freedom, stemmed from Sakai's role as a “gateway” connecting Japan to the world. Furthermore, it highlights that her engagement with classical literature—including Chinese texts—in her works is closely tied to the environment of Sakai. | |||||||||||
